Ultrasound Tech (On-Call Monday - Thursday, 5p - 8a) - Radiology Services
SUMMARY: The Ultrasound Technician utilizes Imaging equipment to perform various imaging duties that will assist medical professionals in the detection of foreign bodies, diagnosis of disease, and injuries in patients. Operates imaging equipment to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by Radiologist and Imaging Department Director.
Education and/or Experience:
Must hold a high school diploma or GED. Must have an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school in Imaging Technology, and six months to one year related experience and/or training in Imaging.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must currently hold or be either eligible for registration with the Texas State Board of Imaging Technologist, and the American Registry of Imaging Technologist.
